When is Pitru Paksha 2026?

Pitru Paksha is considered a special period for remembrance and gratitude towards ancestors. In 2026, Purnima Shraddha falls on 26 September, Pratipada Shraddha begins on 27 September, and Sarva Pitru Amavasya falls on 10 October.

What to Do

  • Perform Shraddha according to the ancestor’s Tithi.
